There are mainly 3 types of rain-proof louver: single-bank, double-bank, and triple-bank. When specifying the right louver, the following factors are expected to be considered:

Blade size, angle, installation direction (vertical/horizontal), and the frame (visible/invisible) will affect the appearance of building.

2. Louver Appearance

4. Louver Performance

Louver performance is mainly about ventilation and waterproof. Ventilation shall be good while strong enough to resist the impact of winds, especially for the high-rise residences. Louver with titanium aluminum magnesium alloy profiles comes with good strength and rigidity, which can be a good choice for storm resistance.

Waterproof performance is another point. Insulating glass can be the secret. When embedded in the louver, they work together to keep off the rainwater even when rainstorm occurs.
